Lagoon Boat Trip

My daughter and I took the lagoon boat tour early in the morning and were more than satisfied. It was a fantastic experience to explore Negombo's lagoon world by boat. There was so much to discover and see, and we learned so many interesting things along the way, not only about the flora and fauna, but also about Negombo itself. We had the most fun during the stop in the lagoon with a fruit picnic and fishing adventure. We even found and ate fresh oysters! The visit to Monkey Island with its fascinating background information and not to forget, the opportunity to sit at the helm of the boat ourselves, was truly unique. But it wasn't just the boat tour that was an experience. Also the journey from the hotel to the dock and back by tuk-tuk was also exciting and varied. There was a stop at the fish market with interesting explanations and a beautiful church, which we also visited. Our guide was simply superb - polite, helpful and always up for a laugh. The tour and guide are highly recommended. Thank you so much for this wonderful start to our Sri Lanka trip! Susanne & Estrela :)

It was amazing to discover Negombo that way. The guide was professional and funny. We had really great time with friends. He showed us a lot of in warm atmosphere. The best part were monkeys!! I recommend it

The boat tour was an amazing experience and a highlight of my Sri Lankan holiday. We did the tour as a group of 7 people. We were picked up by tuk tuk from our hotel and were shown the fish market which was very interesting and a beautiful church along the way. We then went to the lagoon for a boat ride. We stopped in the lagoon and enjoyed the view from tables and chairs set up in the shallow water with a lovely fruit platter and king coconut drink. We then visited monkey Island where the monkeys enjoyed left over fruit on the front of the boat. We then cruised back watching the sunset which was beautiful. Everybody really enjoyed the tour and the scenery and wildlife on the lagoon was great. The guides were friendly and informative and showed us all a great time. Thank you so much for a special day and great memories. I would highly recommend this tour in Negombo.

We did the boat trip, but it wasn’t just a boat trip, it was much more than that. We visited the fish market, where we were given an explanation of the whole process. We also bought some exotic fruit we had never tried before, and then we headed to the boat. During the trip, we sailed around and received lots of interesting information about Negombo. Along the way, we stopped to enjoy some delicious fruit. Was it too much? Maybe, but the monkeys were happy to finish the rest! We cruised through the Dutch canals and, on the way back, we passed by the church. It was an amazing experience, and the gentlemen hosting us made it unforgettable. 10/10!

It was one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka. The people were very Nice And friendly. They made fruits And we went to the Monkey Island and Dutch Canals. Also the Tuktuk driver drove us trough the Tempels and Monastyr. Everything went perfect. I would def. reccomend the boat trip and the Tuktuk tour. Thankyou so much! :) Oskar & Hannah
